In the Fall of 2014, B-K Lighting introduced two new fixtures and renamed an existing fixture- Denali Series™ Recessed Uplight, (UL-DE); ArtiStar™ Recessed Uplight, (UL-AR); and the Mini Micro™ Recessed Uplight, (UL-MM). Each fixture now has two very different and distinct methods of installation referred to as Flush Mount and Surface Mount.

The newest fixture in the line-up, Denali Series™ Recessed Uplight (UL-DE) with integrated BKSSL® solid state technology and the Power of “X” omits 2000 source lumens within the 5” diameter aperture. Select from three OPTIKIT™ modules for complete control of optical distributions.  All components are interchangeable for easy maintenance and upgrades in the field.

ArtiStar™ Recessed Uplight (UL-AR) with a 2-1/4” aperture incorporates our integral electronics, Adjust-e-Lume®, for dynamic lumen control at the individual fixture. Each fixture has an integral dimming driver with a dimming range of 25% to 100%.

Mini-Micro™ Recessed Uplight was renamed from UM to UL-MM. Its aperture measures 1” in diameter and operates at 3 watts with two beam distributions.  This fixture is the perfect choice when a discrete amount of light is required.

B-K Lighting designed the Surface Mount to easily install into an existing application like a wood surface. The fully machined copper-free aluminum installation collar is powder coated to match the installed surface for minimal distraction. This installation method works extremely well for existing construction.

The flush mount features an integral concrete pour collar. This installation method allows the collar to sit flush with the surface, creates a seamless install and best used with new construction.
